So, with that in mind, here are your options for viewing Endeavour on Wednesday.
IN FLIGHT
NASA still will not provide absolute times for the Houston fly-around because of changes in path and timing related to weather, however the tentative plan is to fly around the following locations between 9 and 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
- George Bush Intercontinental Airport
- Houston Hobby Airport
- Reliant Stadium
- Possibly the Galleria
- San Jacinto Monument
- Fred Hartman Bridge
- Johnson Space Center
- Ellington Field
About 30 minutes after the shuttle lands in the late morning, the public will be able to view Endeavour on the ground.
The general public can get to within about 100 feet of the shuttle on the ground at Ellington Field (see map below
NASA also will provide updates on Endeavour’s cross-country flight via social media using the hashtags #SpotTheShuttle and #OV105.
