One of the most unique features of downtown is its six-plus miles of air-conditioned, underground tunnels that link more than 90 blocks. The tunnels are home to an underground city of restaurants, dry cleaners and other everyday services. On rainy days or scorchers, you could walk for blocks without seeing a person on the sidewalks.
