Foodies get in on the action at MetroCooking show
Jeff Amerson had never made a calzone. And he never imagined he'd play sous chef to one of the country's most popular food celebrities.
But the principal of Poe Elementary School in Houston found himself on stage before about 2,000 people after he was plucked from the audience at the MetroCooking Houston show at Reliant Center to assist Giada De Laurentiis during her Saturday morning appearance.
