Another round of thunderstorms and rain pounded the Houston area Thursday, for the sixth day in a row.
A flash flood warning and flood warnings were issued for southeast Texas counties, including Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Waller, Wharton and San Jacinto counties. A flash flood watch has been issued for all of southeast Texas through Thursday afternoon.

As of 7:30 about 18,000 people in the immediate Houston area are without electricity due to the storms.
