“Local faces, local flavors and local fun” is the theme of Saturday’s White Linen Night.
The event will be 6-10 p.m. Aug. 4, with the majority of the action taking place on 19th, but there will be pockets of parties throughout the Heights.
Closed to vehicular traffic, 19th will feature two stages of entertainment. The headliner for the event is Runaway Sun, which will begin at 8:30 p.m. Other festivities include a fashion show, pop-up art galleries and shopping deals at the Heights’ many independent retailers.
Another hot spot for the evening will be 2904 White Oak, where Fresh Arts will host an evening of art including performances by the Mercury chamber orchestra, Suchu Dance Company and Kiki’s Sordid Sideshow.
Last year’s event drew tens of thousands of white-clad revelers.
