Tequila Fest at El Pueblito
El Pueblito Patio
- A quiet getaway in a modest building, where the margaritas were strong, the fish dishes were extremely good for the price and the service was friendly? Felt like the vaguely Latin-American home you never grew up in. Yeah, that's gone. The moment you put in a fancy patio with white curtains, the baby socialites stilleto in and ruin everything. Good for the restaurant that those socialites like margaritas, but bad for the restaurant's old regulars who aren't impressed with fancy patios. The food quality has declined, frozen margaritas sometimes arrive completely melted and service is harried.
Vibe: Party girls who turn their nose up at the very notion of sitting in the dining room, plus their entourages. Occasionally, you'll find casual Montrosians eating in the dining room.
