Thinking of moving to Houston where there are hundreds of choices when it comes to Houston-area schools, and a local nonprofit has narrowed down which ones are the top performers.

Children at Risk, an organization that focuses on education research and advocacy, recently released its annual ranking of area school districts as well as elementary, middle and high schools from around the state.
