The Woodlands to get first-of-its-kind bowling alley this month

The Woodlands to get first-of-its-kind bowling alley this month

Exterior of Bowlero.

The Woodlands is getting the first Bowlero, a 40-lane bowling alley featuring multiple themed bars, interactive games such as shuffleboard and foosball and a full-service kitchen offering a menu that includes a 5-pound burger, Korean brisket tacos, ice cream and alcohol-infused desserts.
Bowlero will open May 21 at 27000 Interstate 45 North near Wood Ridge Plaza.
The 45,000 square foot Bowlero is owned by New York City-based  Bowlmor AMF, operator of 262 alleys in the U.S. and Mexico.
The second and third Bowleros are scheduled to open in other Texas cities later this year, according to a company statement. Those cities have not yet been announced.
One of the bars at the bowling alley features a vintage Chevrolet truck and another will also serve as a private event and meeting room.
Bowlero’s interior will also have  repurposed ski-lift rocking chairs and a reclaimed Airstream trailer.
Bowlero bills itself as a “sports and dining fun-factory that’s born of the past and sent from the future.”
