To some, cars get us from Point A to Point B. But for others, vehicles are practically Narnia: a magical four-wheeled world of design, history, elegance, and, of course, speed.

The famed Mecum Auctions will be doling out these wheeled wonders to the highest bidders over the weekend at Reliant Center. Roughly 1000 vehicles will hit the auction block until Saturday, and 200 motorcycles will be up for grabs on Sunday. This event will include everything from vintage models from the 1930s to posh cars from recent memory.

We compiled a few of the most unique cars that will be up for bids. Take a look at the gallery above to find your dream ride.

Mecum Auctions will be held at Reliant Center, 8400 Kirby Dr. Auctions begin at 10 a.m. Tickets are $20 for adults per day. Children 12-years old and younger are free.  Parking is $10 per day. Bidding registration fees range from $100-500.
