just had lunch at the Avenue Grill by work, great home style food and atmosphere. menu is different from day to but its all server in buffee style. i am sure they cook just like mom used befor everyone got so health concus (i.e. cook w/ bacon fat and stuff). so if ya happen to be in the area drop in for lunch an enjoy. being it close to the houston courts you can expect to see lawyers, police and pretty much everyone else.
