if your looking for something to do with the entire family then Kemah Boardwalk is the place to be. they have food, ride's and shopping. its roughly 20 miles south of houston heading toword Galveston. i have been several time with fiends and family and we have always had a great time. also while in Kemah if you want you can pickup fresh seafood right from the boats, now this part i have not done but i have several co-workers that make a run to Kemah several times a month to get fresh seafood.
